Polypropylene Casework
Solid-through polypropylene laboratory casework for the most chemically aggressive environments. Thermally welded, non-porous, and resistant to virtually every acid, base, and halogen — where metal and epoxy simply won't last.
When Standard Casework Isn't Enough
Epoxy-coated steel and even stainless steel have limits. Hydrofluoric acid attacks stainless. Fuming nitric acid degrades epoxy coatings over time. Concentrated bleach and oxidizing agents corrode metal hardware and fasteners.
Polypropylene has no such limits. As a solid thermoplastic, it is chemically inert to virtually every acid, base, salt, and halogen used in laboratory work — and because it is solid-through, surface damage never compromises its resistance.
USLabs supplies and installs complete polypropylene casework systems — base casework units, wall casework units, fume hood liners, work surfaces, and specialty storage — fabricated to your exact floor plan and workflow.
Where Polypropylene Casework Is Specified
Polypropylene casework is the material of choice in the most chemically demanding laboratory environments across multiple industries.
Acid & Corrosive Storage
The preferred casework material for labs storing concentrated acids, fuming reagents, and highly corrosive chemicals where metal and epoxy casework would be rapidly degraded.
Semiconductor & Cleanroom
Used extensively in semiconductor fabrication and microelectronics labs where ultra-high purity is required and metallic contamination from conventional casework is unacceptable.
Trace Metal & Analytical
Ideal for trace metal analysis, ICP-MS, and other analytical techniques where background contamination from metal casework would compromise sub-ppb detection limits.
Built to Outlast the Chemistry
Every polypropylene casework system we supply is fabricated and installed to deliver decades of reliable performance in the harshest chemical environments.
Unmatched Chemical Resistance
Solid polypropylene is virtually impervious to acids, bases, halogens, and oxidizing agents — including hydrofluoric acid, fuming nitric acid, and concentrated bleach that destroy metal and epoxy surfaces.
Solid-Through Construction
Unlike coated or lined alternatives, polypropylene casework is solid material throughout. Chips, scratches, and surface damage do not compromise chemical resistance — the entire wall is PP.
Non-Porous & Non-Reactive
The non-porous surface absorbs nothing — no staining, no off-gassing, no reaction with stored chemicals. Ideal for trace metal analysis, semiconductor fabrication, and high-purity applications.
Thermally Welded Joints
All joints are thermally welded using hot-gas or extrusion welding — creating a monolithic, crevice-free structure with the same chemical resistance as the base material throughout.
Corrosion-Free Hardware
All hinges, drawer slides, and hardware are polypropylene, PVDF, or 316 stainless steel — no ferrous metal components that can corrode in aggressive chemical environments.
Easy Decontamination
Smooth, non-porous surfaces clean quickly with standard lab disinfectants, acid washes, and solvent wipes. No coatings to degrade, no seams to trap contamination.
Polypropylene Casework & Storage
From base and wall casework to corrosive safety storage and pass-through units — our full PP casework line covers every storage and workflow need in chemically aggressive lab environments.
Base Casework
Solid PP base casework units for corrosive chemical environments — thermally welded, no ferrous hardware.

Polypropylene Pass-Thru Cabinets
Double-door pass-through units for transferring materials between rooms or cleanroom zones without cross-contamination.
Wet Scrubbers
Polypropylene wet scrubbers for neutralizing acid fumes and corrosive exhaust at the source.
Polypropylene Fume Hoods & Equipment
A complete line of PP fume hoods, clean benches, washing stations, and mobile equipment — everything you need to outfit a fully corrosion-resistant laboratory.
Polypropylene Fume Hoods
Full PP construction for perchloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and other corrosives that attack metal and fiberglass hoods.
Perchloric Acid Fume Hoods
Specifically designed for perchloric acid work — wash-down systems, coved interior corners, and PP construction throughout.
Polypropylene Fume Hood with Built-In Wet Scrubber
Integrated scrubber eliminates the need for a separate exhaust treatment system — ideal for space-constrained labs.
Vertical & Horizontal Clean Benches
PP clean benches for semiconductor, electronics, and high-purity analytical work requiring particle-free environments.
Customizable Evidence Drying Casework Unit
Ventilated PP drying casework units for forensic and law enforcement labs — configurable rod spacing, airflow, and access.
Polypropylene Mobile Carts
Chemical-resistant mobile carts for transporting reagents, samples, and equipment safely through corrosive environments.
Polypropylene Washing Station
Integrated PP washing stations with deep sinks, drainboards, and chemical-resistant fittings.
Polypropylene Washing Cart
Mobile washing carts for glassware and equipment — fully PP construction with drain and storage.
Polypropylene Peg Boards
Wall-mounted PP peg boards for drying glassware and organizing lab tools in corrosive environments.
Polypropylene Work Table
Freestanding PP work tables with solid-through surfaces — no coatings to chip or degrade over time.
