Cabinet Classes for Every Biosafety Level
From routine cell culture to maximum containment research, we supply and install the right cabinet class for your specific biosafety level and application requirements.
Class II Type A2
The most common BSC for cell culture, microbiology, and pharmaceutical work. Recirculates 70% of air through HEPA and exhausts 30% — can be ducted or unducted.
Class II Type B2
Total exhaust cabinet — 100% of air is HEPA-filtered and exhausted to the outside. Required for work with volatile toxic chemicals or radionuclides.
Class III (Glove Box)
Gas-tight, maximum containment for BSL-3 and BSL-4 agents. All manipulations performed through attached rubber gloves with supply and exhaust double HEPA filtered.

HEPA & ULPA Filtration
99.99% efficient HEPA filters (or 99.999% ULPA) capture biological aerosols, protecting both the work product and laboratory personnel from cross-contamination.
Inflow & Downflow Airflow
Precisely balanced inflow and downflow velocities maintain a protective air barrier at the work opening, preventing escape of hazardous aerosols into the lab.
UV Decontamination
Integrated UV germicidal lamps provide surface decontamination of the work zone between uses — standard on Class II models.
Ergonomic Work Zone
Wide, unobstructed work surfaces with recessed grilles, adjustable sash heights, and interior lighting optimized for long-duration work sessions.
